Shrek the Third!

Received some free passes from my brother today to see the sneak preview of "Shrek the Third." Cute movie. I will have to get one of the small ogre babies they are sure to come out with! The best part was one of the previews. "The Bee Movie" will be out in November. Looks like another version of some kind of "Antz" or "Bugs Life" movie. But that's not the best part! There will probably be lots of bee stuff for sale! The "Busy Bee" stamping group will be in heaven!!!

What you talkin' 'bout Willis?

Like we haven't heard that one before! What's been really going on with us lately? I just took a little girl's trip to Vancouver BC with my stamping buds. Deidra, Patty and Tammy! We took the train and had a blast! Big Brian and Zack just spent the last few days at 5th grade camp. They had a ton of fun but are both really tired! Zack loves his baseball and is currently playing for the Yankees (he didn't choose the team name...there was a draft-MTYAA) Little Brian(as we still call him even though he is 6'1") has been very busy with his youth group. Any dances he can get himself too, camp outs, and activities. He's our little socialite. His interests make me very proud to be his mom. He really wants to be involved with "Invisible Children" but the weekend they had the huge over nighter in downtown Seattle, he had other plans and and couldn't go (check out their site in my links section). He has a big heart. He has his driver's permit and because of his fabulous uncle Gabe, a car to drive when he gets his license in October. Big Brian has been hanging out at home doing a little here and a little there. I believe he will forever be puttering around fixing things or "jerry rigging" things as he likes to call it, after my dad. As it is, he has a lot of time right now. He can take off just a couple of days at work that can create 2 weeks off. What a life! Anyways, lots coming up for our busy busy family. Little Brian has a scout camp out this weekend, Memorial Day weekend coming up...Brian Birthday, Baseball Tournament and we get to meet one of the new little nephews in the family! Jaime and Andrew will be up from Portland so we get to meet Truman. Hopefully Julie and David will be able to make a trip up here from Georgia so we can meet their new little guy, Dawson! That weekend will be full with another birthday for our little friend Sophia also. She's going to be 1! Yah! In June we will have a couple of little guests that we are very excited about too. My best friend Erica and her husband Matt need to go out of town for a business trip so we get to play with Austin and Ella. I took a couple of vacation days and will pray for lots of sunshine. I think the zoo will be a perfect outing for them! School will be out in a few weeks for the boys and another school year will be past.

#5 - Chocolate - And what girl doesn't love it?!

#4 - Baking - I love the basics but I try to push myself to make extravagant looking desserts - my current favorite is a 6 layer chocolate fudge cake with vnilla buttercream frosting and a chocolate ganache glaze.

#3 - Reading Books - I am currently reading the Harry Potter series (again!) before the new and final book comes out in July!

#2 - Hero's - I love this show! I think it's the first show I will buy on DVD as soon as it comes out.

#1 - Rubber Stamping! - I love stamping on anything and for anyone!
